Are You Ready for Help?

My career in healthcare began in a physical therapy office when I was 17 and during college I worked as a massage therapist while pursuing a degree in physical therapy. It’s been 27 years and I’ve never looked back!

Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work one-on-one with thousands of people at various ages, with a variety of personalities, and varying degrees of motivation. I’ve successfully helped them overcome traumas - physical, mental, and emotional - and deal with setbacks, while remaining fully aware of secondary-gains related to specific diagnosis and injuries.

Pain presents differently for everyone, and I appreciate the variances: What one person perceives as traumatic, others view as a minor injury.

Because success, failure, stress, and challenges show up differently for every individual, it requires a personal approach. The ability to connect with each of my clients, to listen, hear, and understand their specific wants and needs is crucial for success. Personal connection is the highest priority and I take pride in caring about my clients. These connections also help me recognize when someone is non-compliant versus when they're striving for perfection... or they fear they’re going to fail.

I also accept this fundamental fact: To help someone, they must first be ready to help themselves.

The foundation to success - yours and mine - is in the degree of self-love and the level of self-worth. What do I mean? The level to which we value ourselves, is the degree to which we value everything and everyone in life. Simply put, we take care of what we love.

Working for so many years, with so many people, at a wide variety of ages, with various conditions - Some at their most vulnerable, some at their weakest and lowest points, and some at their very last days - gave me the wisdom, strength, and knowledge that I have today. It was an education that’s priceless: it gave me the opportunity to directly impact the lives of others for the better.

Connecting at a deeper level is what I’m passionate about. Personal connection is why we’re all here.

The deep connections I experienced with my clients gave me great insight into the internal conflicts that individuals can hold onto throughout their lives. And the understanding that, all too often, we hold onto them for an entire lifetime.

Let me repeat this: people hold onto negative stories, thoughts, beliefs, and false perspectives for an entire lifetime

These affect you. Physically, mentally, emotionally! Holding onto this garbage impacts the way our bodies heal, feel, and function. It affects the way we think, act, and communicate. It affects you and everyone around you. It can prevent long term change, destroys relationships and intimacy, decreases self-worth, confidence, happiness, satisfaction, while increasing anger, guilt, fears, frustrations, and day-to-day depression.

I started down the road to self-care and personal discovery in 2016. It was a road of commitment, determination, and self-integrity… It was the road that led me to where I am today.
